PALS (Pregnancy After Loss Support)

Continuing into October with Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, today we are highlighting the PALS organization (Pregnancy After Loss Support).

Pregnancy After Loss Support (PALS) is a 501c3 national non-profit focused on offering community support and resources for women experiencing the confusing and conflicting emotions of grief mixed with joy during the journey through pregnancy after loss. We seek to help expectant mothers celebrate their current pregnancy by choosing hope over fear while still nurturing and honoring the grief over the loss of their deceased child.

Our mission is that every mom and her partner who is experiencing pregnancy after loss is able to find support and connection among both peers and health care professionals who understand and validate the unique and complex experience of pregnancy after a previous perinatal or child death.

If you are in need of support during a subsequent pregnancy after loss PALS is the place to find the courage to choose hope over fear and find community among other loss moms who understand the heartache of losing a child. We offer fourteen moderated online groups, an online magazine to read others experiencing pregnancy after loss, in person PALS meet-ups and online resources of local support groups in your area not associated with PALS, as well as educational resources and research for providers.
