Birthplace: Emporia, Kansas

I have two –
1) A voyageur canoe trip on Lake Superior to The Apostle Islands with a group of women including my pregnant friend Krista. We gave her a BlessingWay ceremony on the beach with a big fire and full moon overhead..
2) Playa del Carmen, Mexico, before it was built up, I went with my husband (then boyfriend). I couldn’t believe how soft the air felt. The whole time we were there, I thought it was called Playa del Caramel… named for the color of the sand??

Biggest Personal Accomplishment: 
Living through a difficult pregnancy and birth of twins. Seriously. 

Favorite Movie:
Can’t pick between these 2 polar opposites… The Big Lebowski & The Sound of Music

Favorite Snack:
Healthy – Blueberries in cottage cheese.
Not so healthy – Carmel Corn (my mom’s recipe).

Best piece of advice for new moms:
It’s not all about the kids; you have to be happy & healthy, too. And they need you to be!

Favorite tip for at-home wellness and self care: 
Good coffee, hot baths, podcasts while you’re cooking, doing housework, folding laundry.
